The children have settled beautifully into Reception this week. They have been busy learning the new routines and familiarising themselves within the Reception environment. 

Key messages 

• Every Thursday, children in Reception will have a star moments' assembly where we will celebrate any achievements or special moments they have had at home or at the weekend. It can be as little as helping to lay the table or learning to ride a bike. Your child will come home with a star template next week which you can photocopy and cut out. 

• Please can we remind you to make sure you do not send your child in with a toy as when they can inevitably get lost or broken and children can understandably get very upset.
