Y6 Production

Categories: School News

Yesterday evening, Year 6 performed one of the hardest Shakespeare productions ever to be written: A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Rehearsals were long and tedious; however, in the end it was all worth it. After a nerve-wracking performance in the afternoon (to the KS2 children) everyone overcame their fears to put on a stellar show. Teachers commented that  everyone had put in their maximum effort  and could not have done any better. The show started with a song called ‘Brush up your Shakespeare’ sung by some clumsy clowns and ended with a tearful encore named ‘Dream a Vineyard Dream for Me’ which, of course, made the parents cry. In the end it was voted an 11 out of 10 stars by everybody.
