Stakeholder Surveys

Some parents have asked to see more detail of the survey data and analysis that was discussed by the board of governors.   This information has been uploaded below as it may also be of interest to others.
Governors also thought that you might be interested in the results of 2 additional surveys carried out this term which have also been reviewed by the board.  These are a Wellbeing survey of the staff and a PASS (Pupil’s Attitude to Self and School) survey completed by every child in the school.
Taken together, these surveys offer a snapshot of how all stakeholder groups feel about our school.  These valuable insights are key inputs into the decision making of the board of governors.  Furthermore a governors’ engagement evening is currently being planned for the summer term, which will be another opportunity for parents /carers to share their views on a range of topics.

Pupil Survey

The children in our school are the most important people! Recently, they all completed a Pupil’s Attitudes to School and Self (PASS) survey which measured their attitudes towards themselves as learners as well as their attitudes to school. The answers are represented as a percentile rank for each factor ranging from low to high satisfaction rates. The PASS survey has been standardised against a highly representative national sample of more than 600,000 respondents and is used in over 2,500 schools across the UK so the results are statistically reliable in measuring highly subjective and sensitive issues. These percentiles are benchmarked against national norms providing a standardised indication of attitudes in the school. Earlier this term you received a Parentmail letter about last term’s parent survey.  This letter summarised the key topics that governors and the school leadership have decided to focus on this year, based on a thorough analysis of the survey responses.
