Vision

Art and Design at The Vineyard enables our children to explore, respond and reflect on our diverse community.

By having a unique and creative curriculum, a Vineyard artist will be able to:

• experiment and explore with a range of materials and mediums 

• observe and recreate unique artwork 

• learn about and evaluate a range of artists and their work, identifying their impact on art as we know it today

• have knowledge and skills in drawing, painting, collage, printing and sculpture 

• be curious and confident when producing their own artwork 

• have courage to critically evaluate their own methods and creations

• use technology alongside standard skills of art and design
