Dear Families,
It has been another wonderful term at school, and the children have truly shone.
Year 6 have completed their SATs, and Years 1 and 4 have been preparing for their phonics screening check and multiplication tables check, which they will take next term. We have also enjoyed a number of enriching trips, including visits to Juniper Hall, the British Museum and Hounslow Urban Farm.
And the year is far from over. We are still looking forward to the Year 6 production of The Lion King, our Geography Fieldwork Day, and events linked to the London Literary Festival at Richmond Theatre and the Rose Theatre, along with many other opportunities still to come.
There is so much to celebrate across our Vineyard community, something that was beautifully evident at the recent school picnic. It was a wonderful reminder of what makes our school special: children, families and staff coming together and enjoying being part of something bigger.
I am also looking forward to the meeting on 12th June at 2pm, where parents will be leading a conversation about how we continue to strengthen parent engagement and work together as a community.
As always, my door remains open and I am very happy to meet with any of you. Please do not sit with worries or concerns—do get in touch by email and we can arrange a time to talk.
It looks as though the bank holiday weekend and half term will be blessed with some lovely weather. I hope you all have the chance to rest, enjoy time together, and re-energise for the final half term of the year.
See you all for Summer 2!
Frances
