Dear all families,
As part of our assemblies today we have marked Remembrance day by holding a minute’s silence. During this time we thought about all those who have fought in wars in the past as well as those affected by war today.
The weeks are racing by and before we know it it will be Christmas! So time to start thinking about the various events that will take place. Please check the calendar on the website for the dates of our carol services and nativity plays. Not to forget the Christmas Fair that the PTA are busy organising.
Smile for Five
Thank you so much for your incredible support and generosity for the Smile for Five initiative.
We are overwhelmed with the impact it has had already inside our school. The classrooms and corridors have been filled with uplifting smiles and positivity that has made us all feel that bit happier, more confident and especially empowered throughout our day. Teachers have welcomed seeing the children’s wonderful smiles and new connections are being made between children.
Where to buy the badges:
If you haven’t had a chance to purchase one yet, we will continue to sell them up until next Friday. All profits will be going to a mental health project in school that all children will benefit from. When the plans are in place, we will notify all parents on how the money raised has been spent through the school newsletter.
Wishing you a lovely weekend and good luck to The Red Roses who are playing New Zealand in the Rugby World Cup final.
