Dear all families,
The highlight of the week was the fabulous music concert that some of our young musicians took part in. For some, this was their very first concert which was very exciting. All the children worked so hard in preparing, and I felt very proud of them and their commitment. Learning an instrument is something which takes time, effort, determination and passion. Our hope at The Vineyard is to instil a lifelong passion for music and to support children in developing their musicality and continuation of music lessons. On Tuesday, we celebrated all the wonderful music-making happening at The Vineyard. Thank you to all who helped put this event together especially Ms Bracegirdle, the PTA and Richmond Music Trust.
We have noticed that the uniform of some children is starting to slip. A reminder that children should be wearing school shoes, not trainers or boots and simple hair accessories in the school colours (blue and red).
Unbelievably, it is the end of the second term and there is only one to go! The children have worked hard and learnt lots. It is time for a very well deserved break for all. I hope you all have a lovely holiday and enjoy some family time together. It is a time for playing games, being outside (let's hope the weather plays ball), seeing friends and family and recharging our batteries so we are all ready to come back for the summer term.
Wishing you a lovely holiday,
Frances Bracegirdle
