EYFS News

Read on to find out what we have been up to in Reception this week.

Our first week has been filled with fun, exploration, and learning! The children have settled in beautifully and have enjoyed getting to know their new learning environment and friends. We’ve listened to captivating stories, shared toys with our new friends, and explored the learning garden. We went on a tour of the school, discovering different areas, including the lunch hall. The children have quickly adapted to our morning routines, showing great independence and enthusiasm. One of our big achievements was learning how to self-register in the morning, helping the children take ownership of their day from the start. During snack time, we focused on saying "please" and "thank you," and the children have done brilliantly in showing respect and kindness. Well done Jade and Opal children for a fantastic start to school life!
