Accessibility for all

Accessibility Plan

The Vineyard School has the highest expectations for all its pupils and expects them to participate and achieve in every aspect of school life. Our commitment to equal opportunities is an important aspect of our overall commitment to be a fully inclusive school. Our Accessibility Plan (below) identifies how the school meets the needs of disabled members of our school community in response to the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Code of Practice.

Disabled Access

The Vineyard School welcomes everyone. For Visitors requiring disabled access, please note that all parts of the school are accessible to wheelchair users: we have two toilets suitable for people with disabilities and we have two dedicated parking bays. If you wish to discuss access further, please contact the school office.

Specialist Resourced Provision

We are very excited that new Specialist Resourced Provision (SRP) for children who have social communication needs including both autism and mild to moderate learning difficulties, opened in September 2023. The SRP will initially welcome four Reception age children and will grow to become a setting that includes pupils across the primary phase. Work will start on building the provision after half-term and we are sure that everyone will be interested to see this next part of The Vineyard’s story unfold.
