A very big thank you to all who have donated items to support our garden project.  The children have excitedly started to plant the seeds for our vegetable, herb and flower garden.  The children have been watering their seeds and are watching them carefully with magnifying glasses to see when the roots start to grow.

  

   

  

 

Messages:

Can I please ask all the parents to please read with your child at home at least 5 times a week and return the signed reading record folders weekly.  This is a very important part of your child’s reading journey.

When reading with your child, you can: 

• enjoy reading other stories to them

• stop half way through and predict the ending

• talk about the story

• make links to other books

• retell the story

• answer a few questions about the story
