Music Curriculum News
Our Year 6 musicians are preparing to record their pieces for the English National Opera’s Finish This… project next week.
The children have been tasked with completing an unfinished piece of music titled Blue, Red, Yellow. Working in small groups, they have chosen their own colour and created new pieces of music inspired by their chosen colour world.
This week, they have been exploring how dynamics can create character and convey emotions in music, applying these techniques to their own compositions.

Music Assembly Performances
A big well done to Kira, who performed a beautiful piece on her cello for the whole school during music assembly. The children were a wonderful audience and had the opportunity to ask Kira questions about her instrument.
