What have year 6,4&2 been up to?
Year 6
In Year 6, preparations are well underway for their Whole Class Band performances of Everyday People on 10th March. Our musicians have been developing their ensemble skills, listening carefully to one another and working hard to refine their parts. We are looking forward to sharing their progress with you very soon.
Year 4
Our year 4 have been learning how to identify notes on the musical stave. They are now applying this knowledge to read and play the notes of Tideo on tuned percussion and piano, building both their notation skills and performance confidence.
Year 2
Aaryn (Turquoise) - Well done for a fantastic performance of Hi Low Chika Low. You sung the song with confidence and accurate actions that matched the direction of pitch in the song. Keep up the great work!
Finley (Pearl) – Well done for your focused effort during Hi Low Chika Low today. You worked hard to remember the actions and kept trying even when it was tricky. Your confidence grew as the song went on, and that effort really showed. Keep it up!
Naz (Amethyst) – Great job joining in with Hi Low Chika Low today. You sang with enthusiasm and followed the actions carefully, showing good listening and engagement throughout the session. Well done for your positive contribution to the lesson!
