Y6 girls travelled to Bushy Park Sports Club on Wednesday where they competed against 40 other schools. In the morning, they finished their group games as winners without conceding a goal! Making it through to the cup competition in the afternoon they finished their game 0-0 in full time, 0-0 in golden goal time, before going to a penalty shoot out. Simply put, this is a beautiful book which celebrates children around the world. One of our school’s strengths is the variety of countries that the children come from and the incredible languages that they speak. In this beautifully illustrated book, young children can learn all about what people in other countries eat, wear and play, and how they speak and celebrate.
