World Book Week is fast approaching and we are very excited for the book themed bonanza which will start on the 4th of March. Alongside World Book Week we are celebrating the SPARK book awards and they have been absolutely flying off the library shelf! These are books which have been voted on by a panel of professional teachers.

This week full of reading, entertainment and laughter has been an important part of the Vineyard calendar for many years and we hope this year will be no different. We have authors, acting experiences and even dragons hired!

Friday - Children to dress as a book character or something they feel comfortable in.

Miss Sanchez spoke to all the children in KS1 and KS2 about this book in assembly, and it has left many of them feeling awe-inspired. Sulwe just wants to be beautiful and bright, like her mother and sister. Then a magical journey in the night sky opens her eyes and changes everything.
