Super Saturday final session before the Summer Holidays. It will be the last opportunity to use the school playgrounds before the summer holidays. The Table Tennis coach is pairing up players to play in a team format, and the JA Sports coaches will get the dino bikes out. Come down between 9:30-12:00midday.

A review of Super Saturday will take place to see if it is viable to continue next academic year. There is a small cost associated with opening the grounds on Saturday (coaches to oversee safety, maintenance/cleaning). This year the school received funding to start the project; thereafter the project needs to be sustainable. The most likely option for this would be families buying an annual Open School pass which would allow entry. Your comments and opinions would be appreciated. Do you value the school ground opening? Invitation Tournament for Local Schools. Deer Park, Holy Trinity, Marshagte, Russell, and St Elizabeth's were invited to join us for a year 5 and 6 Boys Football tournament. The tournament went so well that all the schools have asked that we run it each year. Holy Trinity will run tournaments for 3 and 4 next academic year. It was fantastic to play at our home ground and have the support of the school during their lunchtime.

The children’s instructions were to buy a picture book for their new year 5 & 6 classes. They did an absolutely fantastic job and we spent over £110! All the books were incredible but the favourite was…

Round and Round Goes Mother Nature by Gabby Dawnay

    Reading Age: 5 - 11

Genre: nature, illustrations, science & environment

I really can’t recommend the Alligator’s Mouth enough, the staff in there are helpful, informative and frankly geniuses when it comes to a range of children’s literature.
